Power Pack
About Us
To operate a Hydraulic Cylinder one Power Pack is used to supply pressurized oil to the cylinders. One typical Power Pack consists of the following components :
- Oil Tank : The metallic tank will have a filler Cap with Strainer, Oil level indicator, Drain cock, Oil return filter and vent.
- Hydraulic Pump : To supply constant flow of oil.
- Electric Motor : To drive the pump.
- Oil Filter : To protect the system from foreign object.
- Control valve : One direction Control valve i fitted to direct the oil flow as per operational requirement. The valve can be manually operated or Electric Solenoid operated.
- Pressure Gauge : Pressure gauge is fitted to monitor the system pressure.
- Pressure Relief Valve : It is fitted to set the system pressure. In case system pressure go high, the valve will direct extra oil to tank.
- Other devices : Many other devices can be fitted to achieve various operational requirements e.g. Flow control valve, temperature gauge, Return line filter, Accumulator, etc.
